Often I am asked to improve a smile by changing a tooth or two. This may be appropriate in some cases, but there are many other things to consider when improving a smile. Some examples are the level of the gums at the neck of the teeth, the reveal or amount of back tooth showing during a full smile, and the smile line or arch formed by the edges of the front teeth. The point is that your smile can be improved from a minimal adjustment of the edges of teeth, to a full reconstruction including the back teeth in order to support the front teeth.
