The tried and true method for replacing missing teeth or repairing a broken tooth is a crown or bridge. Crowning a tooth involves cutting the tooth to a "peg" and cementing the crown restoration over the top of the tooth to hold it together. A fixed bridge is when the teeth on either side of a missing tooth are crowned and a replacement tooth is connected to the crowns on both sides.
